“The thing I like most about burn barrels is how they’re a place where people end up and ideas begin” – Brandon Lee
Metal artist and musician, Brandon Lee, aka B.Lee, found himself at NIMBY in February of 2014 through fellow metal artist and former NIMBY tenant Jen Forbes. His talents with metal work and plasma cutting began many years prior though, and his catalogue of work includes fabrication in various metals and woods of tables, patio sets, garden fixtures, garden art, gates, and much more. Brandon made his first barrel in 2002, and over the years has become well known for his finely cut, detailed design work.
Brandon can be found regularly in the Bay Area music scene playing percussion with the highly regarded, award winning band The Afro Funk Experience. The process of creating music and entertaining is similarly in line with Brandon’s intentions for his art: to bring people together. “I’ve found that my journey through this life has led me to create spaces for people to enjoy themselves, find one another and spark real conversations.”
