Hobbyist, restoring a 1955 Jaguar Mk VII Sedan. Born and raised in Birmingham, England. Started my data processing career with Joseph Lucas,“King of the Road”, the British equivalent of AC Delco. Joined IBM in 1966, eventually specializing in data base technology and its application. Worked in the US in 1976, moved to Montreal, Canada in 1977 and became a Canadian citizen. Moved back to San Francisco in 1981. Changed careers in 1997 when my wife and I started our own real estate company specializing in restoring historic homes. Retired in 2006 and moved aboard a 48 foot sailboat in the Caribbean. Sailed all over the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico for 5 years, then sold the boat and moved back to San Francisco in 2011.
